As we’ve been getting closer to the big day, the gift fairy has been flying in and out of our house, even today!
Four settings of this came today from my good friend Yvonne! The bowls are the perfect size for cereal or ice cream. I know the plates seam a little plain for me, but I wanted something simple so I could dress it up.
Now these came in a multitude of shipments:
These came from David’s mom, Lisa, and my mom, Irish. There is another blue bowl (I think it is in the dishwasher) and the pots and pans are just a few from a 12-piece set. (Yes, I pulled out everything to take this picture.)
And because all the pieces wouldn’t fit in one picture:
I am in love with the alphabet cookie cutters. David wants me to make him cookies with just the “Q” so he can call them “quookies.”
In other wedding related activities, we have made our dinner reservations, ordered our announcements, and I’ve had dress #2 altered. Yes, “Dress #2.” The first one didn’t turn out right so I had to order another one quickly. While I do not like the people who work at Alfred Angelo Frisco, they do make pretty dresses and their district manager is extremely nice.
